Former Bronson resident Glenn Dennis Woodward, 67, of Topeka, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Countryside Health Care Center in Topeka.
He was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Newton, to Benjamin Franklin and Susie Koehn Woodward. He graduated from Bronson High School and Fort Scott Junior College. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970. In his earlier years, he attended Bronson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, Myron and his wife, Margie, Tulsa, Okla., Richard and his wife, Barbara, and Vernon, Bronson, and Luther and his wife, Hazel, Burke, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Hoobler and Marjorie Ensminger.
The Rev. Chub Bolling will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel. Burial will be in Bronson Cemetery.
