Galen Tecumpseh Watts, 63, Emporia, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at Newman Regional Health, Emporia.
Galen was born on July 26, 1953, in Eureka, the son of Norman P. and Mary Pauline Grider Watts.
Survivors include wife Diane L. McCaleb, Emporia; daughters Hope Watts-Garber, Iola, and Misty Kemmerer and Heather Kinzle, both of Neosho Rapids; seven grandchildren; a brother, Tony Watts, Eureka; sisters, Leta Harrell, Topeka, Pat Hays, New Mexico, and Jackie Pierce, Sublette.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Daniel Watts.
Galen was a machinist for Didde Graphics in Emporia. He was an avid fisherman.
Cremation is planned with a private memorial service at a later date.
