Fred LeRoy Kenison, 93, of McLouth died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at F.W. Huston Senior Living Center in Winchester. 

He was born March 10, 1918, in Buffalo, the son of Frank Asberry and Sarah Myrtle Long  Kenison. Fred received his teaching certification and taught for approximately eight years at schools in the Buffalo and Chanute area. 

He also worked as a parts man for a Ford dealership and ran Fred’s Auto Body in Iola for 15 years. 

He married Eunice Nadine Anderson on Aug. 26, 1942, in Chanute. 

She survives at the home. Other survivors include four daughters, Patty Ann Peres, Shoreview, Minn., Judith “Judy” Lynn Dalton, McLouth, Jeanne Baze, Lawrence, and Anita Douglas, Bentonville, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother. 

Burial was this morning at the Buffalo, Kan., Cemetery. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Family Funeral Home on Highway 59 in Oskaloosa. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
