Funeral services for Earl Allen Goff will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gospel Assembly Church in Owasso, Okla., with Thomas Igler officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla., under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Earl Allen Goff, 93, of Sperry, Okla., died at 3:18 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 in the Sequoyah Pointe Living Center in Owasso.
Earl was born April 29, 1921 in Cairo, Mo., to James and Grace (Roberts) Goff. Earl grew up and received his education in Moberly, Mo. Earl entered into the U.S. Army Sept. 18, 1942, and received his honorable discharge on Jan. 5, 1946. Earl married Phyllis Faye Eaton on Oct. 21, 1973 in Sheldon, Mo., and they moved to Sperry in 2005. Faye preceded him in death on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. Earl was employed with Francis Construction, where he was a carpenter and had worked for various different construction companies. Earl liked fishing and preaching. Earl was affiliated with the Gospel Assembly Church in Owasso.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife, Phyllis Faye Goff, one son, four brothers, one sister, one grandchild, one great-great-grandchild, two stepdaughters and two stepgrandchildren.
Earl is survived by his two children: his, Daniel Goff, and wife Connie and his daughter, Glenda Goff; four stepchildren, Tommy Macon and wife Linda, Darla Thomas and husband Clayton, Lanae White and husband John and Sherry Cannady and husband Daniel; one brother, Robert Burl Goff; two sisters, Margaritte Crutchfield and Pauline Wallace; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
