Douglas E. Walters, 55, of McPherson died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at his home.
He was born July 3, 1955, in Iola, to Loyd Jr. and Doris Walters. He graduated from Iola High School in 1974 and moved to McPherson in 1976.
He had been employed by CertainTeed Plastics from 1976 to 2004, working as a mold-setter.
Survivors include two brothers, Ron and his wife, Susan, Iola, and Steve and his wife, Anita, Galva; a daughter, Kadie Weems, Salina; and one granddaughter.
His parents and a sister, Connie Raney, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Stockham Family Funeral Home in McPherson.
Inurnment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date at the Geneva Cemetery near Iola.
