Dorothy Marie (Boan) Stegman, 85, Iola, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Mo.
Dorothy was born to Thomas and Anna (Hitchens) Boan on Sept. 3, 1939, in Bonner Springs.
Dorothy married Donald Mark Stegman in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Richard Potts.
Dorothy is survived by two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 U.S. 54, Iola. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
Memorials are suggested to Wesley United Methodist Church, and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
