Dorothy Dean Robinson, 96, Iola, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Windsor Place in Iola.
Dorothy was born Nov. 3, 1918, in Iola, the daughter of Frederick and Blanche (Shockey) Vogel. She lived her entire life in Iola. She was employed at Allen County Hospital for more than 20 years and worked for several Iola doctors. She was married to Elvin Robinson, and had four children. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Robinson and wife Mary, San Antonio, Texas, and Bob Robinson and wife Barbara, Great Bend; a daughter, Carol McAnulty, Iola; a sister, Josephine Turley, Iola; 12 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Ron Robinson, sister Wanda, brother Floyd and granddaughter Debbie (Dozier) Anderson.
Family and friends will meet at the Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Chapel at 10:30 a.m. today for visitation before leaving for Highland Cemetery for graveside services at 11 o’clock.
