Donna Snouffer, formerly of Idaho Falls, died Dec. 14, 2017, in Boise, Idaho. She recently moved to Boise for health reasons and to be nearer her daughter.

She was born May 9, 1932, in Colony, to H.L. “Ted” and Hazel Kelley. Her childhood was spent on the farm where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1950.

She married Thomas Snouffer in 1950 in Cherryvale. She and Tom had two children. The family moved to Idaho Falls in 1957.

Donna went to school to become an LPN and worked while she attended “Rick’s College” in Rexburg, Idaho, and graduated with her RN degree. She worked at Riverview Hospital and later at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for several years until her retirement in 1999.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Snouffer Jr., Idaho Falls; daughter, Jann Squires and husband Tom, Boise; grandson, Scott Snouffer and wife Traci, Thornton, Colo.; great-grandsons, Easton and Quinton Snouffer of Colorado; granddaughter, Brindon Neiers and great-grandchildren Arianna and Blake, Boise; and a niece, Kimberly Gunnel Ross, Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas, her sister, Doris Ann Kelley Gunnel, and her infant sister, Lola Kelley.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Colony.
