Donald Harold Rife, 77, Le Roy, passed away Thursday Nov. 26, 2015, at Sunset Manor, Waverly.
Donald Harold Rife, the son of George A. And Flossie Woods Rife, was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Great Bend. He graduated from Yates Center High School in 1956.
On Sept. 5, 1981, he married Deborah Reese in Iola.
His wife survives, as do three daughters, Donnetta (Danny) Karman, Shatosha Ross and Bonnie (Phillip) Decker; three sons, Harold Rife, Jerry (Thresa) Rife and Ronald Rife; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Eva M. (Frank) Johnson, Mary E. (John) Dodson and Connie S. (Butch) Mann.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marjorie L. Winston; and two brothers, Donald A. and Charles Leroy Rife.
Donald was a retired law enforcement officer and fireman.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Le Roy Christian Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Logue Cemetery. Memorials are to Neosho Lodge No. 27 Scholarship Fund and may be sent in care of Van Arsdale Funeral Home, P.O. Box 8, Le Roy, KS 66857.
