Donald George Ludlum died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, in Plano, Texas. Funeral services were Feb. 25 at First Presbyterian Church, Sweetwater, Texas.
Don was born in Tulsa on May 18, 1932. He lived in Sweetwater since January 1962, establishing Ludlum Measurements, Inc., a world class company.
His wife, Irene, survives, as do four daughters, Cathy Ludlum Reed, Wendy Wiele (Roland), Jill Ludlum and Jennifer Dendy; three sons, Larry Ludlum, Max Peeples and Rick Peeples (Elsa); two sisters, Virginia Taylor, Estes Park, Colo., and Jean Pfenning (Harold), Milwaukie, Ore; a daughter-in-law, Pam Ludlum Reynolds (Donald); 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Ludlum, on Aug. 23, 1978, a son, Robert A. Ludlum, on June 24, 2007, and his parents, George Merl Ludlum, on Jan. 15, 2008. and Grace Wray Ludlum on Sept. 28, 2002.
