Donald Eugene Fulk, 72, of Moran died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Allen County Hospital in Iola following a brief cancer illness.
He was born July 5, 1938, in Moran, to Donald T. and Lucretia Fisher Fulk. He was retired from heavy construction in the pipeline and road construction business which took him from Canada south to the Gulf of Mexico. He was married to Shirley L. Johnson. She died in 1984 following 26 years of marriage.
Survivors include three sons, Robert and his wife, Jennifer, Redfield, Donald and his wife, Misty, Girard, and Ron, Phoenix, Ariz.; his friend and companion with whom he made his home, Bessie Mathews, Moran; five grandchildren, Steven, Lani, Samantha, Joe and Sarah; and three great-grandchildren.
An infant son, Elvis Ray, died earlier.
Cremation was under the direction of Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel. Private family services and burial will take place at a later date.
