Donald R. Craven, 80, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
His education began at New Union, a one-room school house in Franklin County, Kan. He then attended elementary school in Hartford, moving to Neosho Falls in 1942, and graduating from high school in 1954 from Colony. Upon graduating from Iola Junior College in 1956, he joined the U.S. Air Force.
He served in the USAF from 1956 to 1978.
A graveside service with full military honors was Tuesday at Dayton National Cemetery.
