Donald M. “Don” Stegman, 82, Iola, died Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Don was born Nov. 19, 1932, in Palmer, the son of Shermann and Mary (Cyre) Stegman. He graduated from Erie High School. He was married to Virginia Wrestler and they made their home in Erie before moving to Iola. They had four daughters before they divorced.
On June 22, 1969, Don married Dorothy Boan Potts and they continued living in Iola. He worked 33 years delivering propane for Union Gas in Iola before retiring.
Don was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Iola Lions Club when it was active.
Survivors are his wife Dorothy; daughters, Nancy, Pam, Terri, and Donna; son Richard Potts and wife Linda, Iola; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel in Iola with burial in Highland Cemetery.
