Donald Earl “Don” Stanley, 73, of Elsmore died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010.
He was born Feb. 26, 1937, in Elsmore, to Earl and Blanche (Cox) Stanley. He was a life-long Elsmore resident and a fifth generation Allen Countian.
He served in the U.S. Army. He served in his community.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Ludlum and her husband, Pete, Naples, Fla.; a brother, Gary and his wife, Sharon, Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Barbara Rees, Stanton, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke, Kayla, Shelby, Josh and John; and a great-granddaughter.
A daughter, Leslie Ellen Stanley Norman, died earlier.
Cremation has taken place.
Graveside inurnment services will be Memorial Day weekend in Elsmore Cemetery.
