Don Carlos Crotts, 74, Le Roy, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Le Roy, the son of Glenn and Elberta Davis Crotts. He graduated from Le Roy High School in 1954.
He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and National Guard for two years. He was a member of First Christian Church in Le Roy. He retired after working 34 years in the Kansas Department of Transportation.
He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Jennifer and K.J. Huelsman and Gina and Todd Jeffery; a son and his wife, Jody and Denise Crotts; two stepdaughters, Brenda and her husband, Mike Riggin, and Debbie Woods and Robbie; a stepson and his wife, Shawn and Shelley Rohr; eight grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.
A brother, Jim, and his first wife, Jean Anne, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at VanArsdale Funeral Home in Le Roy. The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Le Roy. Private family inurnment will follow services in Logue Cemetery.
Memorials to First Christian Church may be left at the funeral home in Le Roy.
