David Eugene Bedenbender was born Dec. 7, 1953, in Iola. He was the son of William Neil and Thelma (Tidd) Bedenbender. He passed away at his home in rural Neosho Falls at the age of 62 on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
David married Diane Hosley Dec. 22, 1973. This union was blessed with two children, Trent and Jana. David was a lifelong farmer and lived his life on the family farm. He loved to attend auctions. He was a good friend to many and was an amazing grandfather.
He is survived by wife Diane, son Trent and wife, Alisha, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; daughter Jana Malone and Robert D’Aquino, Wichita; grandchildren Damon, Danton, Karson and Cora; and brothers Jerry Bedenbender and wife Jeannie, Meridian, Idaho, and Dee Bedenbender and wife Sheila; Neosho Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Duane.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola, before leaving for the Geneva Cemetery where graveside services will begin at 2:30.
