Herman Dale Jackman, 79, Moran, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the University of Kansas Health Systems, Kansas City, Kan. He was born March 3, 1940 in rural Allen County to Herman D. Jackman and Florence (Gay) Jackman.
He served with the Marines.
He married Elaine Hawk on June 3, 1961, in LaHarpe.
Survivors include his wife of the home; four children, Robert Jackman of Iowa, Mary Wagner of Wellsville, Jeannie Ramsey of Moran, Russell Jackman of Linn Valley; and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Venue. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 1883 US-HWY 54 Iola. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Moran Cemetery, Moran.
