Claude Lee Cady, age 67 of Moran, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola. He was born on Jan. 28, 1952 in Fort Scott, the son of Claude and Thelma (Walgren) Cady. Lee graduated from Uniontown High School and from Coffeyville Technical School.
Lee married Beverly Disney on July 7, 1992 in Miami, Okla. He worked as a welder for almost 20 years at B&W in Humboldt. Lee enjoyed riding horses, watching westerns, reading and camping. He was a true working cowboy, an outgoing guy who was always willing to lend a hand. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed going to watch his grandkids ball games. He cherished his time with his family and he will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Cowboy Church and Arena of Life Church in Toronto.
Lee is survived by his wife, Beverly Cady, of the home; children, Tina Cady-Friend and husband Travis of Savonburg, Clint Fraser of Chanute, Carrie Cady-Splechter of Moran; brother, Leon Bud Cady of Moran; grandchildren, Cassidy Friend, Caden Eads, Justice Fraser, Ryder Hall and Ryker Splechter.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Colleen Hayes.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 oclock tonight, at Countryside Funeral Home in Humboldt. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cowboy Church and Arena of Life Church in Toronto.
