Cinda Sue Croley, 59, of Iola died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1950, in Colony, to Lawrence Eldon and Donna Lorene (Tippie) West. She grew up on the family farm west of Colony and graduated from Crest High School. She attended Allen County Community College for a year.
On Aug. 17, 1969, she married Earl V. Croley Jr. They made their home in Iola. She worked for H.L. Miller and Son Dress Factory in Iola for 27 years and had been personnel manager for Russell Stover Candies in Iola the past 12 years. She had also been a Mary Kay cosmetic consultant for a number of years.
She is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Sonja Hermstein and her husband, Bud, Gardner, Janna Snyder and her husband, Sean, Gardner, and Lindsy Morris and husband, Toma, Iola; a brother, Wayne West and his wife, Ginger, rural Colony; a sister, Linda Smith and her husband, Pete, rural Colony; her mother-in-law, Midge Ansell, Iola; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her parents died in November of 2009.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at First Presbyterian Church in Iola. The Revs. Jim Rausch and Jerry Tinsley will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iola.
