Carrol L. Baker, age 86, of Humboldt, died Friday, March 6, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 29, 1933, to Lonnie Lee and Blanche (Beeman) Baker at Humboldt.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.
He married Rita on May 15, 1978, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Survivors include his wife, Rita, of the home; six children, Dennis Baker of Humboldt, Donita Fitzmaurice of LaHarpe, Dianne Lisa Johnson of Savannah, Mo., Kim Ross of Marion, Robbie Baker of Humboldt, Ron Baker of Mooresville, N.C.; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Humboldt. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Hwy 54, Iola.
