Carol Stephens

Carol M. Stephens, 69, formerly of El Dorado, Ark., died Sunday, March 4, 2012, in Fountain Valley, Calif.  

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie, originally from Neosho Falls.  

She is survived by four children, Debbie, Hot Springs, Ark., Sandy, Olathe, Beverly, Carthage, Texas, and Doug, Fountain Valley; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Carol was a 25-year resident of El Dorado  prior to moving to California to live with her son, Doug.  

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. March 16 at Young’s Funeral Home in El Dorado. 

The family is requesting contributions for St. Jude’s Hospital in lieu of flowers, an organization that both Carol and Tom supported during their life.
