Willis “Bud” L. Brundage, age 88, of Grand Rapids, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 at Grand Village.
Bud was born in 1931 to Joseph and Vera Brundage in Gas. He graduated from high school in Iola in 1949 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950. Bud and Mary Lou Fuller were united in marriage on March 2, 1951. Bud and Mary Lou moved to Minnesota in 1968. Bud retired from Blandin Paper Company. He was a very social person, who brought a smile to everyone’s face. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou; and two brothers, Albert and Joseph Jr.
Bud is survived by his daughters, Heidi (Curtis) Obregon, Danielle (David Hill) Heikkila, Brandi Thorson; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and special friends, Tami (Earl) Galloway and Malisa (Tyrel) Schue.
Celebration of Bud’s life will be this afternoon at the Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, Minn. Burial will be in LaHarpe Cemetery in Allen County at a later date.
