Brandon Matthew Griswold, 37, of Kennesaw, Ga., grandson of Doris Hill of Iola, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga.
Brandon was born Feb. 19, 1974, in Kansas City, Mo., to Danny Gene and Vickie Lyn (Hill) Griswold. He spent most of his life in the Atlanta, Ga., area and worked as a designer and installer of audio and stereo equipment.
He is survived by his mother, Vickie Wheeler, Kennesaw; his father and stepmother, Dan and Vicki Griswold of Lonejack, Mo.; a brother, Chris, Kennesaw; a sister, Brittany Wheeler, Marietta, Ga.; his grandparents, Doris Hill, Iola, and Bob Griswold, Raytown, Mo.; and a great-aunt, Fern Wolken, Garnett.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Victor L. “Vick” Hill, and his aunt, Jackie Brown.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel in Iola. Family and friends will leave at 2 p.m. in procession for the Kincaid Cemetery for graveside services.
