Alice Bonita “Bonnie” Coldwell, 82, Humboldt, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Windsor Place in Iola.
Bonnie was born June 18, 1932, at Stark, the daughter of Mark and Wilma (Boler) Parrott. She grew up on the family farm southeast of Elsmore.
She and her husband, Bobby D. Coldwell, just celebrated 68 years of marriage. They have made their home in Humboldt since 1951.
Bonnie was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed bowling, camping, making ceramics and trips to Branson. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Survivors are her husband of 68 years, Bob Coldwell; two children, Jolene Keidel and husband, Dale, Humboldt, and Kendall Coldwell, Galveston, Texas; three siblings Donald Parrott and wife, Mary Ann of California, Jean Laver and husband, Robert, Gas, and John Parrott and wife, Mary, Kansas City, Kan.; two grandsons, Michael Krokstrom and Christopher Keidel both of Humboldt; two great-granddaughters, Darylann Krokstrom and Angel Keidel, and two great-great-granddaughters, Andromedia and Kamryn Krokstrom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Larry Coldwell; son-in-law Darrell Leon Krokstrom; brother Delbert and sister Loreita.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.
