Betty Rose Nold, 79, of Humboldt died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Heritage Health Care Center in Chanute.
She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Bedford, Ind., to Ferd and Lennie (Jones) Colvin.
On July 29, 1950, she married Robert J. Nold in Atlanta, Iowa. She was a homemaker. He died Sept. 4, 1993.
She is survived by two daughters, Jewel Davis and her husband, Greg, Wichita, and Stephanie Schomaker and her husband, Todd, Humboldt; two sons, Robert and his wife, Linda, Humboldt, and Richard and his wife, Kim, Wichita; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Schomaker and Caley Schomaker, Humboldt, and Dalton Davis, Garrett Davis, Johnathan Nold and Tiffany Nold, Wichita.
A sister, Jewel Williams, died earlier.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Humboldt. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Humboldt.
Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Friday at the church prior to the service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel.
