Betty Mae Wrestler, 71, of Elsmore died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.
Betty was born on June 20, 1940, in Humboldt, to Orian and Gertrude (Voss) Galemore. She attended Humboldt High School.
On April 29, 1957, she married Ron Wrestler in Erie.
Betty was a champion trap shooter and won the National Trap Shooting Championship in 1991. She won hundreds of trapshooting competitions and is a member of the Kansas Trap Shooter Hall of Fame. The Wrestlers own The Lone Tree Gun Club in Elsmore.
Betty was a devoted wife and beloved mother. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Sheryl Cassity and her husband, Greg, Atlanta, Ga., David and his wife, Lisa, Humboldt, and Paula Wrestler, Grove, Okla.; grandchildren, Aaron Garcia and his girlfriend, Jessica Cornwell, Amanda Garcia, Adam Garcia, Joshua Wrestler and his wife, Kelly, Derek Wrestler and his wife, Molly, Adrianne Jesseph and her husband, Scott, Danielle French and her husband, Corey, and Colton Davis; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Daegan, Devyn, Attalee, Aybree, Jeremy, Mason and Tucker; stepgrandchildren, Zack, Cameron, Trey, and Channlyn; and her brothers and sisters, John Galemore, Chanute, Barbara Enright, Yates Center, Donna Kay Zablonty, Justin, Texas, Leon Galemore, Chanute, and Dale Galemore, Olathe.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Galemore.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. today Humboldt United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at United Methodist Church.
