Betty Ann Holloway, 80, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

She was born Aug. 3, 1937, in Allen County, the youngest of three children and grew up in Kincaid and Moran areas.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Gail Holloway, parents Guy Garrison and Lula (Gillham) Garrison, and brothers Donald Garrison and L.G. Garrison.

She leaves behind her oldest daughter, Denise and Paul Smith, her ex-husband Bill Holloway and loving friends Eleanor Carpenter and Tammy Neudeck who took wonderful care of her and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Betty was a housewife and a loving mom. She loved cats, antiques and going to auctions. After the family home burned in the late 60s she started going to auctions to furnish her home and that evolved into becoming a “picker” before picking was cool. She always made everyone feel welcome. When family came to town to visit they always came out to the farm. She was a care giver looking after both her parents and willing to help anyone she could. She will be remembered for her willingness to help others.

She was cremated and no services are planned.
