Becky Stanley, 48, of Iola died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home.
She was born Nov. 9, 1962, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert and Vesta (Hoseney) Stanley. She grew up in Coffeyville and Chanute. She graduated from Chanute High School and received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Pittsburg State University in 1995.
She worked as a caregiver for COFTS (Coffey, Osage and Franklin Training Services) out of Ottawa before contracting the H1N1 virus in October of 2009.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chanute and attended First Baptist Church in Iola.
She enjoyed crocheting, writing to pen pals, reading and watching television.
She is survived by her parents, Dan and Vesta Danielson, Gas, and her brother-in-law, Mike Ramsey, Chanute.
A sister, Kristina Ramsey, and half brother, Danny Danielson, died earlier.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Iola. The Rev. Mike Quinn will officiate. Graveside inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.
