Barbara Ann Barnes, 76, Iola, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola.
Barbara was born June 15, 1937, in Boise City, Okla., the daughter of William Floyd and Vella Margaret (Yoho) Patterson. She graduated from Iola High School and attended Allen County Community College.
Barbara married Ray Barnes and they later divorced. She worked for Berg Manufacturing for over 20 years before retiring.
Survivors are two sons, Steve Barnes, Brooksville, Fla. and Mike Barnes, Iola; a brother, Carlos “Cart” Patterson, Crestone, Colo.; a granddaughter Jenny Joo (Seunghwan); and a great-grandson, Noel.
She was preceded in death by five brothers.
