Alan Melvin Ard, age 72, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at Iola.
He was born Aug. 22, 1951, in Chanute, to Melvin and Edith (Daniels) Ard.
Survivors include children, Breg Finnegan, Karyn Ard-Chester, Jake Ard, and Lacy Wheeler.
An open house celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 5, at the Dr. John Silas Bass North Community Center, 505 N. Buckeye St., Iola.
