Agnes Carr

Agnes A. Carr, age 98, of Garnett, formerly of the Mildred area, died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her home.

She was born July 8, 1920, in Jackson County, Iowa, to Albert M. and Cordelia  Pearl (Clark) Earles.  She married Vernon W. Carr on June 2, 1940, at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Carr; and one son, Darrell Carr.

Survivors include sons, Jimmy L. Carr of Newark, Del., and Kevin W. Carr of Lawrence; two daughters, Linda E. Coffman of Willcox, Ariz., and Judy Carr of Garnett; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Garnett, with burial to follow in the Garnett Cemetery.  The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.
