Yates Center hosted a quadrangle on Tuesday consisting of Southeast-Cherokee, St. Paul and Uniontown and came out the other side 2-1.
The Wildcats move to 8-5 after the matches.
They fell to Southeast 22-25 and 15-25 before sweeping St. Paul 25-8 and 25-20 and Uniontown 25-21 and 25-18.
Throughout the three matches, Taylor Jacobs had 17 kills and three aces followed by Allie Pringle who had 16 kills and three aces.
Maria Jimenez had eight kills and three aces and Maddie Collins had three kills and three aces. Stephanie Righini had three kills and an ace.
Julia Day led the Wildcats in aces with four.
Yates Center will join several other area teams competing in Humboldts annual tournament this Saturday.
