Krista C. Grogg, 35, Yates Center, was killed in a single-car accident in rural Woodson County Monday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Grogg was eastbound on a gravel road about nine miles north of Yates Center when she lost control and struck a culvert. Grogg’s car, a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, overturned on the passenger side and struck a tree.
Indications were that Grogg was driving too fast for conditions, according to KHP. She was wearing a seat belt.
