The Allen County Historical Society and Iola Public Library have partnered to sponsor a presentation by Ron Wilson on Tuesday evening.
Wilson, the director of the Huck Boyd National Institute for Rural Development at Kansas State University, will give the presentation titled “Now, That’s Rural: Entrepreneurs and Innovators Who Shaped Kansas Communities.”
Wilson served as a legislative assistant, staff member for the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry and as vice president of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives.
The program begins at 7 p.m. in the Dr. John Silas Bass North Community Building.
