The Iola Tree Board’s annual tree sale starts at 8 a.m. Saturday with 80 trees in six varieties and of various sizes.
Kristy Sutherland, Recreation Department assistant and Tree Board member, recommends buyers arrive early, as the trees will go quickly.
Varieties this year are Tonto Crapemyrtle, Burgundy Belle Maple, Autumn Blaze Maple, Swamp White Oak, Aristocrat Pear and Autumn Purple Ash. Prices range from $13 to $35.
Tree Board members will be available to advise and help load trees into vehicles.
