EMPORIA Several local students will be a part of graduation ceremonies this weekend at Emporia State University.
The local graduates::
Clayton Wesley Miller, Colony, with a bachelor of science in health promotion.
John Nathan Whitcomb, Humboldt, with a B.S. in education in physical education.
Brock Xavier Artis, Iola, with a bachelor of fine arts with a concentration in painting.
Judiah Lloyd Hawley, Iola, cum laude with a B.S. in education in modern languages with a concentration in Spanish.
Ryan Michael Moran, Iola, with a B.A. degree in art with a concentration in painting.
Martyna Rae Hegwald, Le Roy, with a B.S. in education in elementary education.
Those graduating cum laude earned an overall grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a possible 4.0.
