Alanna Knavel, not Kinzle, was the victim of the theft of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee from the 300 block of North Ohio Street Thursday.

An article in Monday’s Register incorrectly identified the vehicle’s proper owner.

We regret the error.

The vehicle, valued at $2,000, had a crack in the front windshield with a broken front grill. Keys were left in the vehicle with approximately an eighth of a tank of gasoline.

Allen County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the resolution of the crime.

Tips can be phoned into Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS, online at allencountycs.org or via the P3 Tips Mobile app on iPhones and Android phones.

All callers will remain anonymous.
