PITTSBURG — As of Wednesday afternoon, Pittsburg has a new fast-charging station that has literally put the city on the map for electric vehicle drivers.
Pittsburg unveiled a new fast-charging station, located at Pittsburg’s Colonial Fox Theatre, in the 400 block of North Broadway Street.
The new station can fully recharge an electric vehicle in two hours or less, the Pittsburg Morning Sun reported.
The site was ideal because of off-street access, electrification specialist Kelly Burgess explained.
It is the second EV station in Pittsburg, and the first equipped for rapid charging.
