Iolan Shirley Robertson was among the donors who showed up Wednesday to give blood at a bloodmobile set up by the Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City. Of the 48 who registered to donate blood, six were defered. Seven donated via the Alyx machine. Forty-seven total units of blood were collected, in excess of the organizers goal of 35.
