Arrest reported
Iola police officers arrested Orion Nicholas, 19, LaHarpe, Saturday evening for suspicion of theft, escape from custody, interfering with law enforcement, possessing alcohol as a minor and being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from an incident at Walmart.
Citation issued
Andrea Harris, 31, Gas, was cited Friday afternoon for suspicion of disorderly conduct after Iola police officers were called to investigate an incident in the 800 block of Wilson Lane.
Bike found
A bicycle found in the 10 block of South Jefferson Avenue was handed over to the Iola Police Department Saturday. The 20-inch girls Next bicycle, mainly silver in color, can be claimed at the Police Department.
