Arrests reported
Iola police officers arrested Jovares Jones Jr., 18, Royal Palm Beach, Fla., for suspicion of disorderly conduct at McDonalds Restaurant Wednesday evening.
Dylan Kindrick, 25, Iola, was arrested for suspicion of battery Tuesday in the 400 block of North Ohio Street, officers said.
Officers arrested Misty Beatty, 42, Iola, for suspicion of battery Monday in the 400 block of South Colborn Street.
Vehicles collide, no injuries
Deona M. Joy, 54, was southbound on Walnut Street Monday when her vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Dakota R. Olson on West Street. Neither driver was injured, nor were three passengers in Olsons vehicle.
On Tuesday, Brenda J. Miller, 43, was turning south onto Kentucky Street from U.S. 54 when her vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Clyde E. Hoggatt. Neither driver was hurt, nor was a juvenile passenger in Millers vehicle.
Fuel taken
Pump N Petes employees told Iola police officers Thursday somebody drove off without paying for $50 worth of fuel.
Vehicle burglarized
Roger Carlin told Iola police officers Monday somebody stole $5 from a vehicle in the 100 block of Canary Lane. An investigation continues.
