Arrests reported
Timothy Greve, 14, Chanute, was arrested for suspicion of burglary Saturday in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street, Iola police officers reported.
An Iola Police Department investigation at Iola High School Friday evening led to the arrest of Ethan Boyer, 16, and Dan Foust Jr., 17, both of Iola, for suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia
Cassandra L. Campbell, 30, Iola, and Hayden White, 28, Iola, were arrested Friday in the 300 block of North Sycamore Street after officers learned both were wanted on warrants out of Allen County.
Officers arrested Justin Westerman, 37, Iola, twice in the span of three days last week. The first occurred Aug. 14 in the 600 block of North Chestnut Street for suspicion of disorderly conduct. Westerman was arrested a second time Friday in the 400 block of East Lincoln Street for a warrant out of Allen County District Court.
Donald M. Leapheart, 35, was arrested for suspicion of driving while suspended Aug. 14 in the 1000 block of South State Street.
A traffic stop Aug. 13 in the 1000 block of East Breckenridge Street Aug. 13 led to the arrest of Aaron Waddell, 54, Kincaid, for suspicion of possessing marijuana (second offense), possessing drug paraphernalia, no seat belt and no signal, officers said.
Officers arrested Brodey F. Silcox Aug. 13 in the 500 block of North Chestnut Street on a warrant out of Allen County District Court.

Dog owner cited
Patricia Snow, 47, Iola, was cited for suspicion of letting her dog run at large and not having required animal registration Aug. 13  in the 100 block of North First Street, officers said.

Battery investigated
Iola police officers were called Aug. 13 to the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive for a reported battery. A suspect was identified.

Driver injured
Carolyn E. Appleton, 18, was westbound on Miller Road Aug. 9, when she failed to yield at State Street, Iola police officers said.
Her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Addison Prather, 18.
Appleton was treated at Allen County Regional Hospital. Prather was unhurt, as were two passengers in her vehicle. A passenger with Appleton also was uninjured.
All were wearing seat belts.

Vehicle struck
Nathan W. Busch, 31, was driving a van in a parking lot in the 700 block of North State Street Friday when he struck a parked pickup owned by Michael L. Helmer.
Busch was unhurt, as were two passengers.

Parked vehicles hit
Robert A. Moore, 39, was backing a trailer in the 100 block of North Elm Street Aug. 14 when the trailer struck parked vehicles owned by Melonie E. Vest and Brandi L. Nations.

Counterfeit bills found
Iola police officers said a known female paid for merchandise with a counterfeit bill Friday morning at Casey’s General Store, and received cash in return. The investigation continues.
