Arrests reported
Patrick J. Thomas, 45, Iola, was arrested by Iola police officers early Saturday for suspicion of driving while impaired and speeding in the 1700 block of East Street.
Charges requested
Officers were called Sunday to investigate a possible domestic disturbance in the 400 block of North Fourth Street. A suspect was identified. Charges of domestic battery and criminal restraint are being requested through the Allen County attorneys office.
Assault claimed
Iola police officers investigated Sunday a possible case of sexual assault against a young child by a 13-year-old male suspect. The investigation continues.
Citation issued
A disturbance Friday in the 800 block of North Street led to a citation for Orion Nicholas, 18, LaHarpe, for suspicion of disorderly conduct, officers said.
