Car runs over gas meter
A vehicle driven by Brittney N. Hill, 28, ran over a city gas meter while parking in an area behind a residence in the 700 block of North Walnut Street at 8:38 p.m. Friday. Fire units capped the main gas line until city workers could replace the meter.
Break-in
Serena Murrow, 41, of Iola, reported someone broke into her residence in the 400 block of North Fourth Street Friday afternoon.
Thefts
Ricky Michael reported theft of handicapped placards from the 2900 block of Cedar-brook Drive.
