Lincoln Elementary School has crowned its 2019 spelling bee champion. Kinsey Jelinek took home first place, and subsequent trophy. She was followed by Ben Heiman in second, Raiden Stowell in third and Annabelle Fernandez in fourth.
The top three finishers advance to the Allen County Spelling Bee at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center. Fernandez also will attend as an alternate competitor.
