Thrive Allen County presents awards annually in November to organizations and individuals for their work in the community.
Four awards are given for excellence in Thrive’s primary program areas: health and wellness, recreation, education and economic development.
Organizations, individuals or businesses that provide or support health, wellness, education, recreation or economic development services in Allen County are eligible to receive a Thrive award. Award winners are selected by the Thrive Board of Directors and presented at Thrive’s Annual Awards Banquet Nov. 16.
Anyone can make a nomination for a Thrive award. Self-nominations are accepted. Nominations can be made by calling 365-8128, sending an email at [email protected], or by going online to thriveallencounty.org and click the News link.
Nominations are due Sept. 7.
Those making nominations should provide key information including the nominees name, contact information, the organization(s) they represent, and how the work done fits with the criteria listed above. Contact information for the person submitting the nomination also is required.

Excellence in Recreation: LaHarpe PRIDE
Excellence in Education: Humboldt USD 258 Staff and Teachers
Excellence in Economic Development: Monarch Cement Company
