Thursdays weekly Allen County Farmers Market will feature a number of activities geared toward safety education.
Family Safety Night runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. the same time as the market on the east side of the courthouse square.
Inflatables, a bike rodeo, face painting and balloons are in the offering.
Free giveaways and drawings for bikes, helmets, sno-cones, popcorn and more also are planned.
The event is spearheaded by the Allen County Multi-Agency Team (ACMAT) and 20 other partners to share tips and tricks with families to stay safe in and out of the home.
Pizza by the slice and wraps will be sold as well.
Those who attend are invited to stick around for the 7:30 p.m. ice cream social in front of the courthouse bandstand and the 8 oclock Iola Municipal Band Concert.
