Sixty-three heard Myrna Wildschuetz play “I Saw the Light” for the prelude at Sunday’s service. At the request of David Ensminger, Rita Sanders played “Down to the River Front” for the morning’s special music.

Pastor Steve Traw’s message, “Love that Infiltrates,” was taken from Romans 12:14-21. Pastor Traw’s granddaughter, Kate Traw, will be back to speak to the congregation on June 10. Kate is a student missionary at the American University of Beirut. This continues her education while learning Arabic and doing mission work.

One of the primary goals is to initiate work to counter human trafficking in the Mid-East, especially in refugee camps. Kate has begun an organization to underwrite this endeavor, Hisheartfoundation.com.

Celebrating birthdays this week were Gene Chambers Wednesday and Ron Phipps Friday.

Pastor Traw leads Bible study at 3 p.m. Tuesdays.
