MORAN — Marmaton Valley USD 256 has hired David Hardage as its next superintendent of schools.
Hardage, a retired school administrator from Greenfield, Mo., will work as a half-time superintendent, Board President Patti Boyd told the Register.
“We still have to figure out what his schedule will look like,” Boyd said.
Greenfield retired in 2008 after serving as superintendent of schools for Greenfield District R-4 for five years.
Hardage replaces Nancy Meyer, who was let go this year in a cost-cutting measure for the school district.
Meyer has since been hired as the next superintendent of schools for Holton USD 336.
