MORAN — Randy McCall, 69, Moran was killed Tuesday in a farm accident at his house southeast of Moran.
Allen County Undersheriff Roy Smith said McCall was replacing a fuel pump on his grain truck Tuesday afternoon when the elevated bed apparently malfunctioned, and collapsed on top of him.
The bed was loaded with grain, Smith said.
Emergency crews, including the Iola Fire Department’s rescue vehicle, were dispatched.
He was declared dead at the scene.
